Hand-rolled naturally leavened bagels made in Asheville

Nosh is a micro bakery in Asheville, NC offering small-batch bagels, bialys, and more, all made using locally milled organic flours. Our bagels are long-fermented for loads of flavor, boiled in barley malt syrup, and baked to a perfect balance of outer crust and chewy interior.

Nosh puts the “small” in “small business.” While we don’t have our own storefront, we take pre-orders online and offer pickup at locations in North Asheville and the River Arts District. We also appear at farmers markets and host pop-ups together with other local food businesses.

We’ll be at the Weaverville Tailgate Market every other Wednesday this spring (April 3 & 17, and May 1, 15, & 29). Our next pop-up is still TBD, but we have something exciting in the works, so stay tuned!

How it works

  • Nosh currently bakes to order on Thursday and Friday mornings.
  • Thursday orders can be picked up at Mother Ocean Seafood Market, while Friday orders can be picked up at Newstock Pantry. Pickups are between 11am—12pm.
  • Order at least 2–3 days in advance, as the quantity we’re able to bake each morning is limited and capacity sells out quickly.
  • We now take orders and payment online, but if you’d prefer to pay via cash or Venmo at the time of pickup, just let us know.
